LSally grew up in Canberra and the south coast of NSW and came to Sydney to study a Bachelor of Economics (Social Science) at The University of Sydney. Whilst economics was attractive, she found psychology much more interesting and rewarding. She went on to complete Honours in Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Psychology, becoming registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, AHPRA, as a Clinical Psychologist in 2004. Sally is also a board-approved supervisor and registrar program principal supervisor in Clinical Psychology.
Sally started her career working at St George Hospital working with people suffering from complex anxiety and depressive disorders. She continued working in this field at Canterbury Hospital where she was lucky enough to share patients with Dr Schelle.
Sally currently works at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney and in private settings. She is highly skilled at providing diagnosis and psychological intervention for various mental health conditions, specialising in anxiety, depression and trauma. Sally uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy as her treatment approaches to help her clients learn new coping strategies and move forward.
In her spare time, Sally loves swimming at the beach, stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, and walking her dog Shadow. Having supported many women through their fertility treatments, she is enthusiastic about helping women on their fertility journey and beyond.
