Making an application to access your Super for medical costs is a simple process

Process

  • Book your appointment with us
  • Request a referral from your GP and send it to us
  • Attend your appointment
  • Receive our invoice
  • Make a payment
  • Receive your report and CRS form
  • Book your GP Appointment
  • Meet with your GP so they can complete their copy of the CRS form
  • Upload your application to the ATO

Submit via your MyGov Account by following these steps

  • Go to the ATO online services home page
  • Select the heading option Super
  • then Manage
  • then Compassionate Release

Timing

The timing of the various steps above are typically as follows

Book – The wait time for an appointment is on average 2 to 3 weeks.

Appointment – Our appointments take between 45 and 60 minutes

Report – The report preparation takes 1 to 2 working days

Submit – The ATO will review your application and reply. This can take as little as 2 working days but may take up to 2 weeks.
